I'm not sure this is actually a kpilot issue. From the dmesg log you posted, it looks like what is happening is that your usb driver is getting released and reloaded several times. That is why the device is getting renamed. That could either be a kernel issue or (more likely) something funky with how OpenSuse handles devices. I'll try to duplicate your problem on my Arch linux box, but it may take me awhile to find my USB/serial adapter. |
