Description Brock Norman 2007-10-01 05:24:30 UTC
Version: 1.4.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

This was discovered when setting up a generic mobile device in amarok. I use PCLinuxOS, which includes Amarok in I believe mandrake based RPMs. When configuring my generic mobile device, I specify aac, m4a, ogg, and mp3 as supported file types, however after clicking OK, only aac and mp3 stay selected as supported file-types. For some reason, m4a and ogg disappear from my settings. I have noticed that when selecting ogg and m4a from the drop down menu of available formats, after being clicked on, m4a and ogg show up on the list of selected formats as "&m4a" and "&ogg". I am not sure if that is supposed to be.

I have the same problem. OpenSUSE 10.2 and now openSUSE 10.3 fesh install, just update during installation from default update repository.

I have seen the same thing in my installation of Kubuntu gutsy. If I mnually edit the configuration file and remove the '&' from ogg, the ogg is 'remembered between sesisons.
