Description Dmitry Suzdalev 2007-09-24 11:47:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

I set "black on white" background for my "Shell" session and "Black on Yellow"
for my other session (don't know if latter matters though).

And then when I restart konsole, the color settings for the "Shell" session are forgotten - I get "whit on black" defaults.
But! This reset doesn't happen _each_ time i restart konsole. I might be wrong, but it seems that it happens quite often on my KDE4 session restart.

So at the moment I just set my preferred colorscheme manually - after each reset that happens :).

Hello,

I'm fairly sure this is caused by a bug where settings changes to the default profile were not saved properly if the Konsole data was installed to a read-only directory. That bug has been fixed now (just after the RC 1 release I believe) and it should solve this problem as well.

I will therefore close this report for now - please reopen if you have problems with a recent build.
