Version:           0.9.2-final (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 56.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.18.8-0.5-default

I'm using Digikam since 3 years. Before Digikam do not support  IPTC, and I made on my picture the IPTC-Comment with XNView. No, I have a lot  IPTC-Comment thy are not recognized from Digikam.
Refresh do not work. Please make a function to rescan IPTC Comments also. Thanks

Martin,

This report still valid t use digiKam 0.9.4 and a recent version of Exiv2 library ?

If no, can you attach a file to test ?

Hi Gilles
its working perfekt now with release 10. Problem was, when you delete the digikam3.db the exif was recognized but it was no option to merge the new db with the deleted one, means no rescan exif comment.
With release 10 its doing automatic to digikam4.db.
