Description Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2007-08-12 21:57:47 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 "release 64.1" (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 60.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.27-0.9-default

If I select 'fit picture to window' then it is not possible to zoom into the picture. Zooming is essential for viewing images of higher resolution than the screen. Why not zoom by the mouse wheel into the part of the image the mouse is over (much more comfortable than selecting % of scale and scrolling)?

In previous versions, one could change the zoom level at any time. In 3.5.6 this is impossible when the default display mode is "fit picture to window" or "best fit". Therefore this is a bug, not a wish, and I'm changing it to such. I'm also confirming that the bug exists in 3.5.6 from Ubuntu packages.

I am changing the subject to reflect that this is a bug and not a wish.

Kview is no more mantained/developed. This bug wish will not be fixed until a new developer will work on it. Moreover this product is not ported to KDE4. On KDE4 it has been replaced by another software. I'm closing this bug as "unmantained". I'm sorry.

Regards.
