When you duplicate a page, Konqueror creates new page/tab and loads whole page again. Please -- duplicate it. All the images, text, JS, whatever are already in the memory -- so just copy them.

? Are you sure -- I am asking because I am not familiar with the Konqueror internals. The other report is about detaching tab (so this tab was and still is), this report is about duplicating a tab (there was a single tab, now there are two the same tabs (initially)).
