Description Tristan Miller 2007-07-22 15:35:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Reproducibility: Almost always

Steps to reproduce:
1. Configure KOrganizer to play a sound when a reminder alarm is triggered.
2. When an alarm is triggered, a Reminder dialog pops up and the sound is played. Press the Suspend button.

Expected behaviour:
3. After the suspend duration has elapsed, the Reminder dialog should pop up again and the sound played again.

Observed behaviour:
3. After the suspend duration has elapsed, the Reminder dialog pops up again and the sound is played n+1 times at once (where n is the number of times one has already suspended the reminder). This has the effect of creating a very loud, echoey reminder noise.

Hi Tristan,

Is this still happening in the KDE 4.11 series?
Comment 2 Tristan Miller 2013-09-22 11:05:27 UTC
Sorry, no idea. I can't upgrade past KDE 4.6 yet because KMail 2 has too many show-stopping bugs for me.

Oh, I just noticed that my original report was for korgac on KDE 3.5.7. I don't recall the problem occurring with korgac on KDE 4.6, so this report can probably be closed.
