Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

I have no problems when using mouse, but it happens often (but not always!) that while typing a word, I miss several letters from it. Typing passwords with no feedback is impossible, because I don't see what I missed so even for few letters I could try and try, and try...

Do you have this problem with VNC or RDP remote desktops?

Urs, lame question but how can I tell the difference? I use krfb (server) and krdc (client).

Then you are using VNC ;)

This should be fixed in the new KRDC. Please try then again.

It's via VNC. 
Which new krdc do you mean? The one in KDE 4.x?

I also have problems with the mouse that some release events are not received on the "server" (my office machine). Is this also fixed in the new version?

Exactly, the one which is currently in branches/work/soc-krdc. It will move soon to trunk.

I think the mouse problem should also be solved. If you have time, you could test it... ;)
