Description Paul Thomas 2007-05-30 02:11:14 UTC
Version: 0.8.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: GCC 4
OS: Linux

If you cut a file from the desktop and then in Dolphin use the paste command, the file does successfully get copied to its proper destination, however the file is not removed from ites original location. Instead, the file appears to be in the "cut" state and ready to be pasted.

Still no fix. Is this because Dolphin is not well-integrated into KDE 3.5.x? If so please don't make it the default File Manager in this version.

Thanks for the bug-report! I know it has not been communicated very well, but bugs.kde.org for Dolphin is only valid for the KDE 4 version of Dolphin, the KDE 3 version is not maintained anymore (see also http://enzosworld.gmxhome.de/download.html section "Dolphin 0.8.2 (KDE 3.5.5)" for more infos).

The issue is not reproducible anymore in the KDE 4 version of Dolphin + KDE.
