Description Rafał Miłecki 2007-05-24 08:57:28 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I prepared very simple XHTML test-case with very simple JS. Opera and Firefox pass this test-case without problem. Konqueror doesn't. Reported by Konqueror problem is:

Error: http://zajec.net/bug/konq.xhtml.and.script: SyntaxError: Parse error at line 2

You can check it yourself on: http://zajec.net/bug/konq.xhtml.and.script

Possible dupe of #52665

Tommi Tervo: I checked bug #52665 and it is about invalid/malformed documents. My test-case is a nice validating XHTML test-case, just check it: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fzajec.net%2Fbug%2Fkonq.xhtml.and.script

I made my assumptions based on this bug, which is marked as dupe of #52665.

It is the same bug --- the HTML parser can't read CDATA stuff.
