Version: 3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-14mdv

1) On a konqueror window with at least one tab, open a new tab. Lets say the new tab appears on the right of the old tab.

2) Press ctrl-shift-left to move the new tab to the left of the old tab. Nothing happens.

3) Select the old tab and then select the new tab again.

4) Retry step 2. Now the new tab shifts as expected.

Same problem in kde-3.5.7. Note that after the new tab is opened, the new tab automatically becomes the active tab.

This behavior is present in 3.5.9 and trunk rev. 819999. Although I'm not sure this is a bug, because by design ( I think), the focus is set on the address bar.
You can use TAB to go get focus on the present tab, so you can use the accelerator again.

Maybe this is a wish? "Accept accelerator keys while in address bar focus"?
