NO, it does work now for me. I've rebooted. I've started Kontact. And when I then started Korganizer and entered an event I did get a reminder. (The advanced reminder dialog text doesn't appear but that's not necessary as you can put enough info in the description) I don't know why at first I didn't get no reminders. I had the same problem with Korganizer 3.5.4 but then I couldn't solve it. Is it necessary to first use Kontact once before being able to have reminders for events in Korganizer? Could some of you developers check whether the first time they install kde-pim they try to start Korganizer and try to get a reminder for an event? vatbier SVN commit 932770 by smartins: Alarm interval was converted to minutes when read, but not converted back to seconds when written. Thanks to Lars who spotted this. I'm having the same problems with version 4.2.4 of KOrganizer. (In reply to comment #5) > I'm having the same problems with version 4.2.4 of KOrganizer. Go to the advanced tab and see if the alarm is Before Start or Before End, and, does the to-do have a start-date or only a due-date? For all the alarms in question, the alarm is set to occur before the start time and the to-dos in question only have due-dates, not start dates. >

This is fixed in the new korganizer (4.6)
