Summary: two accounts fail with cachedimap

Description Ivo List 2007-04-24 18:17:09 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2
OS: Linux

I did following:
- i had cachedimap account A
- added new cachedimap account B
- i subscribed to all folders in B
- since I was a bit nervous, and there weren't any folders on account B, I clicked refresh cache on account B
- kmail crashed
***********************
- after starting kmail again, it added all folders from account B into account A locally (they didn't sync with server, and it reported an error, where a slash was missing e.g. imap.yoursever.com:55Inbox)
*************************+
- i subscribed to all folders in B again
- it started refreshing cache on both account - it took 10 minutes.... (coffee break)
- deleted extra nonworking folders in A
- after that it worked perfectly

I assume there are some incoherences when having more than one cachedimap. Don't worry about the crashing... I just think it should be a priority to fix the bug which added folders from account B into account A.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
