Robert,

digiKam 0.9.1 come with a very improved camera interface. Please update
digikam and libGphoto2

Arnd,

There is no fresh report from Robert using last libgphoto2 and digiKam 0.9.x. I think than we can close this file. Right ?

This bug is closed because without updated information using
current digikam and gphoto2 version nothing can be done.

Feel free to re-open if the problem still persists.
