Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Hi,

akregator's internal browser lacks an essential shortcut, the
accelerator (F5) for page reloading.
Please add this accelerator to the customizable keyboards shortcuts.

Regards,
Ruben

Note that F5 is already used for re-fetching the selected feed.
Comment 2 Ruben Jenster 2007-02-27 14:05:07 UTC
OK - I missed that.
But please make it possible to assign an accelerator to "reload".
In my opinion it would be less confusing to use F5 for page reloading (like you do in konqueror, firefox ...), especially for new users.
Fetching Feeds could be changed to e.g. Strg+F5.

Regards,
Ruben

But then you confuse KMail users, where F5 syncs the folder. This is the old Konqueror consistency vs. KMail consistency problem. In this case it could be solved by fetching the feed when showing the articles, and reloading the page when showing a browser tab.

In akregator using KDE 4.9.3 it is possible to change the shortcut.
Closing.
