Description Dalibor Karlović 2007-02-20 10:52:31 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

The problem with Kontact is that various plugins feel and behave different, they require tighter integration. For example, KMail has similar settings for colors as KNode, also the widgets look different. The user should be able to set kontact-level preferences which plugins inherit and can be overriden per plugin. So Kontact could implement various common bits and plugins could then implement the difference.

Damnit, filed this bug to the wrong place by mistake and can't find Edit on this thing. :)

Closing then (by the way, the suggestions you did are already mentioned in other bug reports).
