Description ArnaudLB 2007-02-18 01:21:25 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: Debian amd64 package
OS: Linux

When I create an embed HTML element with javascript, it results to an iframe showing the current page.

Example, code and screenshot here: http://www.xooit.com/miscs/konqibug.html

The bug affects 3.5.6 too
Comment 2 Maksim Orlovich 2007-09-08 02:28:34 UTC
It is an embed, but it picks rather... interesting defaults for what to load. No idea -how-, either. Oh well, I am rewriting half of that code anyway

testcase

Modified testcase to load a visible flash from the adobe website.

This bug is still reproducible in 3.5.9. trunk (around r798768) shows neither the iframe nor the embedded flash.

Seems to be fixed in 4.5.4, closing the report. Feel free to reopen if you still see this bug.
