I guess that's not what you wanted to hear? Regards Michael H=E4ckel On Tuesday 31. October 2000 09:19 Jose Manuel Lara Bauche A. wrote:

Ok if you use
ln -s ~/nsmail ~/Mail/.nsmail.directory
and create a empty file ~/Mail/nsmail
Your Netscape mail boxes are displayed as subtree this method is at least=
=20
reported to work.

Netscape mail acts the same way. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com I can make Pine accept kmail's dot-directories but I cannot make kmail accept simple directories as used by pine. Trying to use symbolic links as a more complicated approach I can't have both a directory and a file of the same name in the same directory i.e. linking a directory ~/Mail/subdir to kmail by ln -s ~/Mail/subdir/ ~/Mail/.subdir.directory works but I can't make an empty file "subdir" in ~/Mail/ as there is already the directory. Using a directory different from ~/Mail/ for kmail (or pine) and then link directories could be an option. Of course I could also change all existing pine directories to kmail's dot-directory standard and generate empty files but kmail could just as well accept the same simple directories as used by pine. Information on the reason for choosing the present kmail directory structure appreciated. Best regards Karsten. *** Bug 51550 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 62229 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Is this still walid wish for kmail 4.3? It is! We love to use pine/kmail/thunderbird on single mail directory ;) Will be fixed in kdepim 4.6 |
