Description Shlomi Fish 2007-02-02 20:38:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

The LiveJournal.com drop-down JavaScript menus are not displayed correctly in Konqueror and are practically dysfunctional. They work perfectly fine in Mozilla Firefox 2.0.x and 1.5.x and in Opera 9.10.

To reproduce:

1. Login to your LJ account.

2. Click the "Post" link at the top of the page.

3. See the menus at the top become dysfunctional.

Regards,

        Shlomi Fish

I think this also applies to sourceforge menus too - refer:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/fgflightplanner/

or

http://sourceforge.net/projects/quake2plus/

e.g.

and access the navigation menus - they flicker showing the content once, then render out grey.

This is with KDE 3.5.6 compiled with Konstruct

The sourceforge.net menus work fine on 3.5.9 and trunk r798768. I'll try to get someone with a livejournal.com account to reproduce the other bug.

For livejournal: Are you using S1 or S2? I don't think this is an issue on S2...

What is S1 and what is S2? And it still happens when I checked it now.

Oh! I see:

http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=168

I am using S2 at the moment, and it is a problem there.

Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams:
This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore.
If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report.
Thank you for your understanding.
