Description Ferdinand Gassauer 2007-02-01 16:27:20 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (using KDE 3.5.6 "release 19.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.2-34-default

most of my office mails have to be printed for documentation purpose.
So I'd like to create ONE button which sends the mail and prints it afterwards to the "default" printer.

Any hint to do this?

Completely untested, but a suggestion which you may try:

Create a filter for outgoing mail and pipe the message through the following command:

kdeprint --stdin

Look in kdeprint --help for more options.

Ok this could be a solution for printing everything, but I was looking for a button to attach this function.

You asked how to do that, so you get a (possible) answer :)
