Description Dale Strickland-Clark 2007-01-23 15:14:23 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I have an email containing three attached emails. Each contained email had attachments.

Right click on main email and "Save Attachments..." produced: "No attachments to save."

If you scroll through the main message to each embedded message and click on the attachment icon and "Save As..." you get a zero length file saved. "Open With..." also gives an error by the receiving program (Ark, in this case).

However, if you view the message in its own window and View -> Attachments -> As icons, each embedded message appears as an '@' icon. You can then click on these and open the embedded message in its own window. From here, you can save the attachments successfully.

Mail server is Courier IMAP.

I've discovered this problem seems to be peculiar to Kubuntu because I've now tried the same operation on SuSE 10.2 with the same versions of everything and it works - although you still can't right click and save attachments.
