Summary: problem downloading raw images
Product: [Applications] digikam Reporter: Rainer Lay <rainer.lay>
Component: Plugin-DImg-JPEGAssignee: Digikam Developers <digikam-bugs-null>
Status: RESOLVED FIXED
Severity: crash CC: caulier.gilles
Priority: NOR
Version: 0.9.0
Target Milestone: ---
Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Latest Commit: Version Fixed In: 6.2.0

Description Rainer Lay 2006-12-27 13:21:20 UTC
Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45" , openSUSE 10.2)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.2-34-default

While downloading images in Nikons raw format (NEF) from my D70s, the download stops and a message appears:
Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x4d 0x4d
It looks like digikam tries to rotate the image via a jpeg algoritmen, which obviously doesn't work.
My proposal: just download raw images, without rotating them.
This worked with version 0.8
