Description Shai 2006-12-07 18:43:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

The scenario:

Over a long time, I accumulated many articles in some feed. Now, I want to organize the large list of items -- put them into some folders. Alas, I can't; Akregator has feeds, and it has folders of feeds, but not folders of items where I could collect items.

Dragging an item into a folder creates a feed. If an item (say, a blog post) holds its own feed (say, of responses) then this makes sense, but otherwise, this may lead to another copy of the original feed. Not what was intended at all.

BTW, Thunderbird's feed-reading component supports this concept, and allows hassle-free management of items.

"More than 5 years"... 14 and counting...

I don't use Akregator regularly these days, so I no longer need this feature.
