Description boki-kde 2006-11-20 14:46:32 UTC
Version: 0.4.0 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-3 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-2-686

After updating to latest version (debian etch) of digikam and its plugins each time i try to refocus the window which opens is updating itself permanently applying the default data of its options-dialog over and over again. I can cancel the window and - if I am lucky even change some options but refocus is rendered unusubla by that. Other plugins seem to have the same problem. Needs more testing here.

Versions in Debian-Etch:
Digikam:1:0.9.0-beta3-3
Digikam-plugins: 0.9.0-beta3-3

why are there betas in etch anyway?

Not reproductible here (10 test computers compiling digiKam and co runing under Kubuntu, Mandriva and Suse).

Here digiKam & co source code are compiled and installed by hand. I never use package for that.

I suspect a broken package or something like that. I recommend you to compile yourself source code and try again.
