sorry, but we aren't responsible for third party scripts, you will need to get in contact with the developer I do not know of the architecture/design of how the title becomes added to the amarok playlist. But in any case I regard it an error of the amarok application not to play the title that itself shows in the playlist. Either it has to reject the addition with the hint of the cause (I guess the script submits the track in a wrong format?) or it has to play the title. Due to this I will now set it reopened. Though if you believe my opinion being wrong feel free to set it RESOLVED/INVALID again and I will stop then inquiring this issue ... BTW: is WebControl external from amarok point of view, too? If so could you please point me to the maintaining location as I failed to find such up to now (it is even nowhere mentioned on the scripts sites). Hi This issue is resolved in the last 0.9a release of Amarok XUL remote. This bug can now be closed. btw, that would be very nice to have an API for querying the collection, instead of using SQL in the scripts. that would be more reliable and secure. bye Thanks. About the API, we agree, it's just that nobody ever coded that. |
