Description Jan Kunzmann 2006-10-31 23:46:49 UTC
Version: 1.6.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Gentoo)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-gentoo-r1

Normally, the konsole follows the last line if you're at the bottom of the scroll buffer. But it stops doing so if you do a certain combination of input events (which often happens accidentally if you're using a 2 button mouse emulating the middle button for pasting the clipboard):

- Press left mouse key
- Press right mouse key
- Release left mouse key
- Release right mouse key (context menu opens)
- Press Escape to close the menu

I found no way to restore the usual konsole behaviour.

You can restore the normal Konsole behaviour by clicking on the terminal display area with the mouse. Weird bug, but confirmed.

I cannot reproduce this in latest konsole sources from git
