Crash testcase
Test case. Will crash.
No crash here, 3.5.5, no flash plugin installed. $$$^&%&*()^%&*(% Crash Bugs! This is the 4th time I've tried to respond. It won't crash when you click on the test case link. It will when launched from a desktop icon. It will also crash when accessed from a webserver. Try http://www.marktaff.com/test2.html Note I'm changing webhosts, so the file may dissappear, but you should be able to put the test case file on any server and get the same results. Regards, Mark No crash for link: marktaff.com/test2.html Thanks for checking Lexual. Still crashes here as noted above. Hopefully someone else can reproduce. Any chance you're using GPL flash or such? And also, please specify the backtrace. And yes, the script -only- has to do with flash -- it's replacing html headings with flash ones. Backtrace
Backtrace. Must remember not to use Konqi when working with Konqi crash
bugs...
I don't think I am using any flash. Searching to "flash" in smart shows
nothing installed. There is a flash-player 7.0.68.0-1.2 for i586 that isn't
installed (none for x86_64).
I have also tested on another box, this one *i586* Konqi 3.5.5, with no flash.
On that i586 box, Konqi doesn't crash.
HTH,
Mark
No crash here konqueror 3.5.7 (archlinux) with flash plugin with "load on demand only" (even if I run it, it only shows a black background on the flash movie, but no crash) Could you check also that you don't have swfdec|gnash|klash installed. *** Bug 142258 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Mark, have you seen this problem with 3.5.9 or one of the 4.0.x releases? I am unable to reproduce this bug from the test case, or from surfing the Edmonton Sun website, despite my best efforts ;-). I have checked on two machines (x86_64 & i386), both with Konqi 3.5.9 (haven't made the plunge to 4.0 yet). Something has obviously changed, and I suspect this bug got fixed by the Konqi devs along the way. I also went and checked out bug 142258 from both boxes, and Konqi works fine there as well. I am going to close this bug--if anyone can come up with new evidence, please reopen. Thanks for checking on it Phil. |
