Description kdebugs4reinhard 2006-10-19 13:48:52 UTC
Version: 0.7 (using KDE 3.5.5, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.1

Saving a color snapshoot as EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) results in a grayscale eps File. Is this due to QImageIO plugin limitations or is there a chance to get colored eps exports?

Same here - svn ~3.5.5 on freebsd

This seems to be a limitation of the converter (it uses gs underneath). It's not a ksnapshot issue.
Comment 3 kdebugs4reinhard 2006-10-20 11:52:16 UTC
Ok, but is it possible to implement a solution as done in gimp? Using the print functionality of gimp, I'm able to greate colored EPS but it's not the best way first to save png in ksnapshot and call gimp to convert them to EPS.

Appears to work fine now. Just used ksnapshot to save to EPS, and it shows fine (in colour) in okular.
