Description Dik Takken 2006-10-18 21:46:48 UTC
Version: 0.9.0-Beta2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

If you want to edit images direectly from the main digikam window, you can look for the the desired tools in two different places: The 'Image' menu, and the 'Tools' menu.

It is unclear where to look for any given tool. For example, rotating images according to their EXIF info is in the 'Image' menu. Scaling images can be found in the 'Tools' menu.

Maybe the 'Image' menu can have a 'Edit' submenu which contains all image editing tools. This submenu can include a 'Edit in image editor' entry that loads the image in the image editor.

Dik,

From curren tsvn implementation (digiKam and kipi-plugins), i have performed few menu re-organizations. Now you have as main menu entries:

- Tools
- Batch
- Import
- Export

This is not enough for you ?
