Description Richard Weintraub 2006-10-16 21:20:56 UTC
Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu18.1 dapper)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-27-386

I deleted the standard resource (I just wanted to delete all events). Then I used the calendar from google as standard, but it seemed not to be possible to save the calendar to the same url as I imported it from, so I marked it as read-only, still being the standard ressource. (This shouldn't be possible I think...) Some time later, I wanted to create a new resource, as I did not know what to choose, I decided to use the option to use a directory as resource and chose my home directory. I set this resource as standard.

When starting Kontact my RAM got filled and then the SWAP too. After that the PC did not react to mouse movement or keyboard typings.

I'd like to get an error message instead.

Can not reproduce. Followed the steps exactly by adding a Google Calendar and after that a resource pointing at my home dir.

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

Could you provide a backtrace? I guess there's to little information to see what is going on (please install kdepim-dbg first).
Comment 4 Christophe Marin 2008-11-02 15:21:47 UTC
No backtrace. Closing.
