Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          GCC 4.1.1 CFLAGS="-march=Nocona -O2 -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" MAKEOPTS="-j3" ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64"
OS:                Linux

Hi,

I've got a Dell D820 with the new intel core 2 duo processor T7200 and i've installed the amd64 gentoo system with this settings (64bits)

CFLAGS="-march=nocona -O2 -pipe"
CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
MAKEOPTS="-j3"
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64"

i'm running the 2.6.18 kernel and kde 3.4.1.

I'm having problems with my keyboard, such as sometimes i press a key and it assumes 3 ou 4 times that key (i've configured the kde for more delay, but it's the same) and also sometimes the keyboard stops woking and it seems that the alt key is pressed (can't sellect icons in the windows, cant close tabs...).

does anyonnne help me?

This is either a bug in Gentoo or KDE. I'd suggest you keep track of KDE bug 109322 or Gentoo bug 129793 (https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129793), where the keyboard problems are being discussed.
