Version: 4:3.5.4-2+b, soon 3.5.5-1 ;) (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Hello,

currently konsole doesn't open its window in the lastly stored size immediately. It first opens in some standard size and then resizes its window and the bar which displays all the tabs to the size that has been stored with the session management. Given eight tabs or more this results in quite some flickering on KDE session startup, where my IBM ThinkPad T23 with 1.13GHz is quite busy.

Steps to reproduce:
- Open a Konsole
- Open eight or more tabs in it
- Logout from your session
- Login again

Would be nice if Konsole could restore to the lastly stored window size immediately thus avoiding that window resizing operation.

Regards,
Martin

Fixed in KDE 4.

Thanks. I had a glimpse at KDE 4 currently using a VirtualBox image with Debian Sid and KDE 4 experimental packages. I am quite sure I am going to love the new Konsole ;-).
