Version: 0.19 #3100 (using KDE 3.5.4, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 (Gentoo 3.4.6-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-suspend2-r8-IZB

It would be nice, if tabs could stop after a certain count of tabs in one line and start in a new line...

Im on 4 IRC nets, joined about 25 channels.
Such a feature would be very nice

Multi-line tab bars are considered a usability nightmare, and, incidentally, are also a coding nightmare due to lack of style support. They will not be implemented.

I suggest looking at the new vertical bar found in Konversation 1.0 as an alternative to solve your space problem: http://konversation.kde.org/screenshots/konversation10_3.png
