Description Gustavo Boksar 2006-08-31 17:08:50 UTC
Version: 0.8.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

when running digikam enters a loop that eat 100% of my cpu for ever! It never start, I've tried with --nocrashhadler to be sure there was no error, and nothing happened :(

At the beginning I've thought the app. was collecting images all over the disk, so I was patient, but database ain't increasing size, and my disk isn't that big... right now the process been running for 2.5 hours and app did not appear yet...

Can you test using 0.9.0 implementation from svn repository. If i remember, a similar problem with an infinite loop condition have been fixed by Marcel.

Marcel, do you remember something like that ?

Maybe I fixed something like this, but I dont remember. So there is a chance it is fixed in 0.9 svn.
