While you do have that document on your side, fact of the matter is that Konqueror and Kate both put "Window" to the right of "Settings", as do several other KDE applications. The "Window" menu is pretty important to us, and I think following the (obsolete) HIG here isn't worth living with the new inconsistency brought about by putting it to the left of "Settings". Let's hope the new KDE4 HIG resolves this for us. |
