Description Niek Beernink 2006-08-09 01:32:24 UTC
Version: 0.19+ #3119 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20060715 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.1-9ubuntu1)
OS: Linux

The option "Show a close button on the right side of the tab bar" should be indented and should be disabled when "Show close button on tabs" is unchecked.

For reference, see the options in Behavior => General and uncheck the option "Use system tray for new message notification". "Only notify when a highlight is triggered or your current nick is used" is now disabled (grayed out) and can no longer be used.

Assigning to me - I need to go in there due to the treelist stuff anyway.

WONTFIX as close buttons on the tabs vs. a central close button in the corner are seperate features that can be enabled independent of each other.

Someone who wants to have the corner button may not want to enable the buttons on the tabs to get them. And I see no added value in changing the label and behavior of the corner button option to an exception to the buttons-on-tabs option (which it isn't at this time). There's no real point to making the options mutually exclusive by introducing that relationship.

Oh sorry. I mistook the feature for something else. I thought it would put the close button on either the left or the right side of the tab label (in which case this bug would be valid). Perhaps I was confusing it with another program.
