When using tip from startup tips and entering:
export PS1=$PS1"\[\e]30;\H:\w\a\]"

Konsole latency increase drastically. It seems that session name is repainted every time anything is pressed. This makes whole tip unusable as for me.

I agree, I noticed this before but haven't look at it yet.

Latency issue fixed in Konsole for KDE 4.  Although I'm not sure about the correctness of that sequence.
