Description Mathieu Jobin 2006-06-17 11:44:05 UTC
Version: 3.5.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6-r1, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-suspend2-r5-justbudget

I thought kfloppy could do it, but entering custom device isn't supported.

i need to format and check for bad blocks my 512MB SD card. i thought kloppy could do that.

mkfs.vfat overwrites the FAT but does not check for bad blocks or erase my data (for some reason). -c options freeze.

nowaways not many computers have a floppy anymore. as it is, this application could be removed from the base distribution IMHO. but if kfloppy could be use to format, check for badblock and even defrag ANY vfat filesystems, it would be great.

thanks
