Version: 1.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.16.13-4-default

Hi!

IMAP, attachment load on demand=ON, High Speed Internet Cable

for new larger messages > 1MB I noticed a message "Uploading <message with subject>" ( for smaller ones prpably, the message disapears to fast)

So either the text is wrong (why uploading if it's downloading ?) or it's uploading the message which was downloaded just before. Why and where does it go?

its mainly a performance issue.

Probably only a wrong message. A bit strange that I cannot find the string
"Uploading <something like message>" in the sources...

my be this helps:

during download for a short time the downloaded message header is displayed twice. - strange enough...

Yes, it is probably similar. As that bug I'm closing this bug, as the problems with up- and downloading mails on IMAP is fixed in my experience. Please reopen or report if you still have this issue in KDE 4.3
