Description Johannes Stamminger 2006-05-23 09:01:49 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

1) create new mail folder (local)
2) put 2 messages in there
3) mark them as unread

=> tray notifies of 2 unread mails (assumed nowhere else are unread mails)

4) open folder's properties and disable option "act on new/unread mail in this folder"

=> tray notifier disappears

5) select one of the two still unread mails in the folder

=> tray notifier re-appears now telling of one inread mail left. In the folder's properties dialog the option is still disabled (therefore this is not bug #127659 itself but seems related to it (the UI now remembers the un-checking but the behavior does follow the option only initially, later falls back to standard behavior)

Johannes,

Works for me, KDE 3.5.5/Kontact 1.2.3 Kubuntu 6.10 (edgy).
Does this still happen for you?

Hi,

yes, it still behaves as described above (Dapper, KDE 3.5.5, Kontact 1.2.3).
