Description S. Burmeister 2006-04-29 10:58:41 UTC
Version: 0.12 svn (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

If I go to jabber-services for kdetal.net, I am offered conference.kdetalk.net. If I try to register I am told: "You need a x:data capable client to register nickname."

If I click on register I get: "The server has rejected the registration-form. Reason: " ".

You don't need to register to that service to join a chat.
use the join group chat entry in the jabber menu.

the x:data forms will be implemented in kde4

Yes, you only need x:data support to register your nickname so that nobody else can take it.
