Description Andres Mejias 2006-04-10 14:37:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: 4.1
OS: Linux

Playing a song from any folder with the kioslave system:/ (ex. system:/home) amaroK say "Conneting to stream..." and don't play anything.
Comment 1 Laszlo Pandy 2006-04-11 06:40:07 UTC
Actually, this was fixed with system:/media, but it is still unhandled for system:/home and any other system:/ things that could contain mp3 files, since amarok implements its own thing instead of using some KIO class (don't ask me why).
Comment 2 Ismail Donmez 2006-04-11 10:41:57 UTC
amarok shouldn't do any magic for KDE 3.5.3 ( which is SVN now ), because I fixed KFileDialog there and it should work fine with media, system ioslaves.

Ok I can confirm this is fixed with my media:/ fixes, KDE 3.5.4 should fix this, or try updated distro packages for kdelibs.
