Description Oded Arbel 2006-04-02 12:19:36 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Mandriva Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.14-0.mm.7mdk

When viewing an HTML email in the KMail message viewer, sometimes part of the HTML message is truncated. For example, in the attached HTML part (that was received as part of a multipart/alternative email) the entire footer, that contains unregistration info, is missing in the display.

This can be compared to Konqueror (which I believe both use KHTML for rendering) which manages to show the entire message.

This file can be viewed properly in Konqueror. Please note that KMail will not
display anything under the last red "oracle" divider.

Note the lack of content after the last red divider (the scrollbar is at the
bottom).

Confirmed in kde 4.1 Ubuntu 8.04 packages. Everything after </html> doesn't appear in Kmail while it's there in Konqueror.

This seems to be solved with KDE 4.4/trunk. (with 4.3 RC3 I can still see the problem but no longer with current trunk)
