Description Tal Levy 2006-03-18 19:48:08 UTC
Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Arch Linux)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-ARCH

Many times I have fetched all feeds only to find that the only "new" articles are ones that I've read already and exist in the aKregator archive. True, this can be a bug in the feeds themselves but aKregator should have no problem comparing all new articles to its entire archives or just to the feed's archives (some multiple feeds from the same site overlap in the articles they include) and not showing any duplicates, or maybe just changing the date of the article to the latest duplicate.

An example of a feed, for which, for every new fetch, every items are duplicated:

http://www.01net.com/rss/dossiersentreprise.xml (and they even appear with the same time).

I'm under Gentoo Linux, using KDE 3.5.7 (Kontact 1.2.5, Akregator 1.2.7).

Thanks to everyone who will work on this.
