Description thomas klein 2006-03-05 21:15:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I sort my email oldest at top, newest at bottom.

I'm in my inbox, I type some thing in the search box (this feature really rox and is so fast on my old box with tons of emails;)

If I click on another folder, the view display the top of the mail list (my newest mail are at the bottom).

----

If I erase the text in the search field then click on another forlder, it's ok, my newest mails are displayed (the view display the bottom of the mail list)

same bug on KMail 1.9.1 / kde 3.5.2 debian sid

I can reproduce the behaviour. It is possibly related to the order of function calls, i.e. first the function for focusing on the unread message is called, and then the function that clears the searchbox.

I don't exactly understand the problem. In recent kmail version, the last selected mail in the other folder is selected.
