You can do the last one of your suggestions with: PS1=$PS1"\[\e]30;\w\a\]" in your ~/.bashrc or something. *** Bug 133660 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** KDE 4's live tab titles effectively implement this feature by allowing the tab names to match the current program, directory, user/host combination etc. |
