Do you have an example feed around? On sunday 2006.02.12, in the article form Mark Kretschmann (markey): Fast forward to Amarok 1.4. <quote> - Reworked media device system, the Apple*A(r)* iPod*A(r)* support has been improved enormously in the 1.4 series iRiver*A(r)*/ifp and generic media devices </quote> Where *A(r)* represents a capital A with a circumflex accent and the symbol "Registred Trade Mark" (an "r" in a ring) while in a Konqueror window, there is only the (r). If bugs.kde.org allows these chars, I mean: "®" instead of "®". This is a feed problem, not an Akregator problem. Planet KDE often gets hiccups when processing Unicode. Look at the Planet KDE feed: "AppleÂ&#174" The ® is escaped as _two_ chars. The original amarok feed: http://amarok.kde.org/blog/feeds/index.rss2 It contains the "®" unescaped: "Apple®" |
