Why should we do that? digikam's core depends on sqlite, which is available for most distributions. i develop a java servlet for cocoon who is able to read the digikam database and automatical generates a thumb-page for html-output with metatags information. The server has the database and the pictures. i can't access sqlite over network from my desktop pc. greetings Düsentrieb PS: sorry for my poor english;o) Mysql support is implemented since a while and very improved with next 5.8.0.
