Description Adrian Treusch von Buttlar 2006-01-22 12:49:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

1) i want to rearrange the order of the column headers in the article list view. by default the columns are sorted "article", "feed", "date" but i want mine to be sorted "date", "feed", "article". these changes can be done but are not saved by akregator.

2) if i change from an aggregated view (more than one feed in the container) to a single view (just one feed), the display of the columns changes and "feed" is removed. i was told that this is a design decision but i think it's not consistent and no matter where and how a feed is viewed the columns should stay the same (i'm sure there will be some usability guidelines supporting that view).

3) so, just to wrap it up: would it be possible to add a custom list view to the different "view models" (single/aggregated) defining which field get displayed in what order? perhaps even locking could be done (i sure am no dev and have no clue if qt allows this) that disables sorting and rearranging of fields in the list?

ad 3) this is already on the wishlist:
(optionally) add more columns in listview (on a per feed basis)

It's currently possible in trunk to reorder and disable columns for both the feedlist and the articlelist.
