Version: 1.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Quite a few packages in Kubuntu currently have URLs in their descriptions (in the default install, the first package I can find like this is adduser, which has two).

Having to copy+paste the link is a bit tedious. Could they be done as clickable links instead? This would be similar to how Kmail makes links in emails clickable.

Clicking would open in Konqueror, or whatever the user's has their default browser set to.

Sorry, marked this bug as crash... obviously this should be wishlist!

Indeed, good idea. Have my support.
Comment 3 Peter Rockai 2008-03-09 18:11:00 UTC
Yes, I will try to tend to this at some point. Marking for 3.1, as it shouldn't be particularly hard.
Comment 4 Jonathan Thomas 2008-09-10 20:35:11 UTC
Currently links in package descriptions aren't displayed at all.

Adept has been in the unmaintained state for a few years. Use muon[1] as replacement .
